Hello to all of my fellow readers! I apologize for being MIA for awhile…my hope was to have several blog posts done last month and into this month, but between being out of town for a majority of November, working on a commercial job, placing orders for the Christmas season and being a bit under the weather, time and life have gotten away from me.
But I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some personal work I’ve done in between everything else that showcases one of my all-time favorite seasons of the year. While I was home in November, I had the opportunity to experience the tail end of fall in the mountains. Though I know fall is over for many of you (including me!), my hope is you will enjoy these images nonetheless.
While visiting home, and as fall began slipping into more of the winter feel, I had the opportunity to take a trip to Asheville, NC to visit a friend who was getting married. While we were there, I took advantage of photographing some artistic Christmas trees near the Biltmore Estate.
It was pretty fascinating to watch the staff member of one of the local hotels stoke the evening fire while we were there. The fireplaces are huge!
And the Biltmore Estate was beautiful. Though we could not take photos of the house inside, I can attest that it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. I’m glad I had the chance to see it and take the tour.
