It’s a new year! And that means new projects, new goals and putting a game plan into action. But before looking too far ahead into 2013, I want to take a moment to reflect on the highlights from 2012. It was a big year for us on many fronts, probably the most life-altering change being the addition of our son to our lives :) I love this little guy so much and have been blessed to have had this time to focus on him and learning how to be a mom.
In addition to becoming a mom to our little one, I also became an aunt for the first time and gained a sister-in-law, all within a couple of months of each other. Family is something that is very important to me, so with the many occasions to celebrate in 2012, it proved to be a great year.
On the photography side of things, I had the opportunity to work on lots of various projects in 2012 including event photography for the Hancock County Red Cross, The Arts Partnership of Findlay, and The Findlay Service League, to name a few. I thoroughly enjoyed the many family sessions and weddings I was able to photograph, as well as working with other great photographers along the way. Here are some of the highlights from 2012:
So what’s in store for 2013? I look forward to meeting and sharing with more people as they celebrate treasured milestones in their lives such as marriage, birth and those just wanting to celebrate the joy of life. If you’re interested in booking a session or would like me to capture the moments of your special day, feel free to shoot me an e-mail at kate@katecherry.com. I’d love to talk with you!
I hope all of you have a fabulous 2013! Stay tuned for the various photography projects we’ll be working on this year!
