Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! I can’t believe winter is already here! It has truly been a busy, but joyous season in photography for me over the last several months, and I feel so grateful for each and every one of my clients who I photographed this year. Though I plan to do a year-in-review in a few weeks, I wanted to take some time to reflect on a few of the many sessions I had from this fall. Seeing that it is the season of new birth, I wanted to give you a taste of these little one’s first memories and the ways that their parents and families have been blessed by their presence.
Newborn photography is one of my favorite types of photography, as it is super challenging, but it’s also so rewarding. I always love getting to know newborn’s little personalities, as each one is different. Some of the best moments are watching the little one settle into a comfortable position and sleep soundly until their heart’s content :-)
I photographed the Haselman family late this summer with their newest addition to the family. I’ve photographed this family since before their first child was born and was so excited when they asked me to take photographs of their expanding family. There’s nothing sweeter than brotherly love.
The Martin family contacted me earlier this fall to help them welcome their first born into the world. I was so excited to meet them and thoroughly enjoyed meeting their little man.
Toward the latter part of fall, I had the opportunity to photograph a couple of newborn girls who were perfect for their sessions. I loved their adorable cheeks and full lips :-)
There were so many new beginnings with little ones this year, and being asked to photograph some of their first days was priceless.
I’m very excited about 2015 and everything it has to bring and am looking forward to sharing the highlights of 2014 with you in a few weeks. It’s been a great year full of great people and sessions, and I feel very grateful to have been able to capture so many memories for so many people.
