I’m excited to have a moment to sit down and write this post, as I’ve been anticipating sharing this information for awhile :) I have never felt more blessed and privileged to have the business I have in photography, and due to my husband changing jobs recently, it looks like I will be relocating my business down to Wake Forest, North Carolina. It is a bittersweet move, as I have so enjoyed my clients and friends I’ve made in the Ohio area, but I am also excited about this new adventure and new chapter, as it seems there is a lot of potential there.
The last several months have been super busy for me, not only in the way of prepping for a move and figuring everything out that needs to be done to set up something new, but also in the way of finishing up my business in Ohio. This spring seemed just as busy as last fall, which is saying a lot. It was so hard for me to have to refer so many current and potential clients to other photographers in the area, though I knew it was for the best. Had the time been there, I would have gladly taken on more clients :)
With that being said, I’m glad I was able to photograph as many couples and families as I could this spring, and I’m excited I will be back in the Findlay area in the latter part of September/early October to photograph a wedding and a few families in between as well.
So where does that leave me now? In addition to moving to a different state, starting a new church plant with my husband, looking after my favorite two-year-old and finishing up wedding photography editing/print ordering, we are expanding our family by one and anticipate the arrival of our little bundle of joy at the beginning of August :) We are really excited to meet our little one and are praying for a smooth and easy delivery.(Thank you to the lovely Elizabeth from Studio Seventy-Nine for this image!)
My plan is to carry my business forward in the state of North Carolina and focus on young families and a handful of weddings each year. I still want to work with seniors from time to time as well, but will be focusing primarily on families welcoming little ones into the world and capturing the special moments of life throughout a baby’s 1st year.
So here’s to new beginnings, new chapters and starting again. To all of my wonderful clients I’ve had over the years in Ohio and beyond – a tremendous thank you goes out to all of you. There is no way I could have done what I did or be where I am without your help and support. Many of you have very special places in my heart, and I am truly honored I could be there to capture the priceless moments in your lives that you will cherish forever. I am also grateful for the photography community in the Ohio area from which I made several friends whom I hope to keep in touch with in the years to come. And to Wake Forest and the surrounding areas in North Carolina – I’m excited to see what’s to come :) I know it will be great.
