Welcome to my first post on KateCherry.com! I’m excited to launch my business and begin marketing my photography services! There is no way I could have done this without the support and love of my family and friends, so I’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to those individuals. And to my dear husband, Patrick – thank you for your encouragement through everything – I couldn’t have done it without you.
To give some background to my journey, my husband and I just moved to Findlay, Ohio a few months ago, so we are still new to the area. Coming from San Antonio was a huge change, not only in weather, but in culture, way of life, everything. It’s been a good change – we’re just learning to wear more clothes so we don’t freeze all of the time :). I’m looking forward to the warmer temps as we move into the summertime so that I can begin taking some colorful images of people with the green grass and flowers coming up.
I have been photographing for a while, but am now at the point where I can make photography my full-time career. I am official with my business licenses and am working on getting to know the community. I hope to post here often, so stay tuned to other articles as I get set up with a new business!
