It’s late June, and summer has begun! There’s nothing like the yummy smell of cookouts from backyards and chasing lightning bugs that makes summer everything that it is. One of my favorite things to photograph during the summer is the explosion of fireworks. There’s something majestic about them that make us all say “ohhh” and “ahhh!” Perhaps the other side of that is I love photographing artistic things that paint pictures in the sky. I’ve always been fascinated with weather – sunsets, thunderstorms, rainbows – and fireworks are no different :) Enjoy some of the images I took below as we gear up to celebrate our Nation’s Independence Day on July 4th!
