I’d like to wish a very happy anniversary today to this sweet couple!! I can’t believe it’s already been a year since I photographed Mary & Randy’s wedding day! It was blustery and chilly with on and off showers in Ohio (those who live in Ohio know that the weather can change on a dime!), but it didn’t hamper us from being able to celebrate this couple’s love story.
Faith, details & love
When I first met Mary & Randy, they told me the story of how they met and about the many memories they had already shared together. It made complete sense that getting married was going to bring them even closer together to begin the family they had always dreamed of having. Since faith is a big part of who they are, I knew it would be important to make that focus of their wedding day. 
Wedding fun had by all
The wedding was a fun time, and I enjoyed getting to know everyone in the wedding party. Nothing makes me enjoy my job more than when people get comfortable in front of my camera and their personalities come alive. The groomsmen and wedding party did just that and we shared a lot of laughs in between taking pictures.
Mary was a nanny to many children, and she has a very special place in her heart for all of them. She told me from the beginning that her wedding would be a kid-friendly one, set apart and made complete with coloring activities, dancing and a fabulous hot chocolate bar.
I was so excited to learn a few months ago that they are expecting their first child! I’m sure they will be great parents, both with very nurturing personalities, and I hope to meet their little one someday soon.
Mary & Randy – I wish you all the very best, and thank you so much for asking me to come along side you and document this very special time for your lives. I hope it has been a fantastic first year of a marriage and that you will have may more to celebrate. Thank you again – it was a joy!
