A few months ago, a very special e-mail came into my inbox from Scott asking me about doing a baby announcement session, as he and his wife were expecting their first child. I remember speaking with Scott on the phone and hearing a bit about how he and Leigh met, the football games they liked to attend together at Virginia Tech and how much they spoil their two fur babies who are like their kids. In talking to him and realizing that I was one of the few people who now knew they were pregnant, I felt very privileged they wanted me to document this sweet time they shared. 
Meeting Leigh and Scott with their two fur babies was such a treat! On top of being a beautiful momma-to-be, Leigh was one of the sweetest people I’ve met in a long time. I loved meeting Scott in person and hearing a little bit about the ministry he does, and learning about the youth they serve was heartwarming.
We decided to start their session with their Boston Terriers, and oh my goodness, they were cute! They actually listened quite well, and with a little coaxing, we got them to turn at the same time and look toward us which made the perfect photo.
I always enjoy getting images of couples interacting with each other to showcase the love they share. Leigh and Scott were perfect when I asked them to share some stories and memories and they started to laugh together recalling various things.
I loved meeting this couple so much and am so excited they asked me to be part of such a special time in their lives. I wish them all the best as they get closer to their due date and I hope to have the pleasure of meeting their little one when he/she arrives. Congratulations to you both! Your child is so blessed to have you both as parents :)
