January was one of the coldest months I’ve ever experienced in Ohio, and I for one am looking forward to the warm temperatures of spring and summer :) I was excited when the 1st of February came, as I always think of this month as the month of warmth & love. Though this is definitely the season of engagements, I don’t always think of February as having to represent a “romantic” type of love, but often a love for others, especially family.
Family is very important to me and I consider it one of the most important things in my life. This has carried over into my photography business in the types of sessions I like to capture. Witnessing the beginnings of family, whether that be in the way of a marriage or welcoming a new addition to the family is truly what I am most passionate about.
Speaking of the beginning of a new family, I wanted to showcase a wedding I was able to photograph last fall for Emily & Aaron. It ended up being a beautiful day full of love and life. Red was the accent color that ran through everything that made up their wedding, and it was full of their family & friends to witness it all. I was so appreciative they asked me to capture the special moments of their day and am grateful I could be there to witness the start of their lives together.

Congratulations to Emily & Aaron! Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your day!
