How many of you can hear a song that takes you back to where you were 20-30 years ago? We got to do just that a few weeks ago at the Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas concert that was held in Findlay.
Thanks to the Findlay Arts Partnership, we were able to sing out to some of the 80’s classics “Sara,” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” & “We Built This City,” while I photographed the event. One of my favorite parts of the evening was watching the crowd come up to the stage and help the band out by singing the songs at the top of their lungs :) Everyone danced, swayed and fist bumped to the beats. So much fun!
It was a pleasure meeting vocalist Mickey Thomas and drummer Darrell Verdusco. They were quite personable, and the band as a whole sounded great. Hopefully I’ll get to hear them again sometime! Be sure to check out the rest of the images from the evening here :)
